Peel Away the Years!

Glytone chemical peels are a cost effective method of superficially resurfacing the skin on the face, neck, hands or back with NO DOWNTIME. These peels treat age spots, acne, sun- damaged skin and fine lines to give your skin a peel “glow.” You can see and feel results in just one treatment.

Chemical peels provide deeper treatment than microdermabrasion or traditional facials. We use Glytone chemical peels that contain the highest level of pure glycolic acid. Our Glytone glycolic peel range from 30%-70% in strength. Peel formulas and strengths are tailored to each patient depending on your skin condition. As part of a comprehensive skin rejuvenating program, we recommend a series of 6-8 treatments to achieve the best possible result. Ask about our peel packages for extra cost savings!!!

During your personal consultation, we evaluate your skin and discuss your goals. We then advise you of the best treatment options which may include Glytone chemical peels, the deeper Obagi Blue Peel or a more advanced treatment with Active Fx/Deep Fx laser skin resurfacing. If we determine chemical peels are an appropriate treatment for you, we then evaluate your medical history and determine an initial peel strength and regimen. Allergies, medication use, history of cold sores or photosensitivity are all important factors in peel safety. With continued treatment, we may increase your peel strength in a way that is both safe and comfortable. Our mission is to provide you with effective, customized treatments for safe and natural results. For your convenience, we have listed our pre and post treatment guidelines below.

Pre Peel Instructions

  1. One week prior to your chemical peel, discontinue the use of any exfoliating treatments such as Retin-A, Tretinoin, Tazarac, Differin or any other retinoids.
  2. Refrain from waxing, bleaching or use of depilatories (Nair) on the area being treated at least one week prior to the peel and throughout your treatment series.
  3. Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds two weeks prior to treatment.
  4. Arrive for your appointment with clean, make-up free skin.

Post Peel Instructions

  1. Wash the treated area very gently by avoiding harsh facial scrubs, loofahs, masques, or abrasive sponges.
  2. Avoid hot showers and soaking in hot tubs for 24 hours after treatment.
  3. Avoid sun exposure.
  4. Continue to apply sunscreen; your skin will be more sensitive to sunlight.
  5. Do not peel, scratch, pick, or scrape the skin.
